From it’s inception, ENDOTREND has been created as a truly philanthropic endeavor, where local artists, event organizers and businesses give back to the community and help to inspire attendees to become civicly engaged to support non-profits that are doing incredible work locally.

Endotrend organizer, Bands for Lands, has 14 years empowering and motivating audiences at over 300 events around the country! Now BFL is bringing the knowledge back to Denver, with it’s initial vision of staging an event that has the community at it’s heart.

BFL has partnered with Metromix.com, 9News, Groundwork Denver, and Metro Volunteers, to produce this momentous event featuring music, art & film at 2 venues from local to national talent (with an emphasis on local).

In tough economic times, great art, and events will find a way to surface.  This is true for the EndOtrend EXPLOSIVE show on Saturday, September 19th, 8pm, at 3505 Ringsby Court, Building B, Denver, CO. Bands For Lands’ EndOtrend Explosive presents The Post-Apocalyptic Love Story between The MOTOMAN PROJECT, with there underfed machines of chaos,  the Construct band in their G.I.Joe battle, box car, transport, and no triangle is complete without the Samurai Demons of OFM: OdAm fEI MUd to corrupt the landscape in monstrous fight choreography.  Mor acts to be announced. $10.00. www.endotrend.com.

EndOtrend is a fine arts festival and special events funded by the Bands For Lands non-profit to promote eco-consciousness and healthy living through the mediums of film, art, and music.  For EndOtrend Explosive, Jeremy Gregory, organizer of EndOtrend  and  half of the Construct duo, has brought together an entertaining and dynamic grouping of talent in spectacle, art, and performance for the September 19th event, which promises to be a daring and explosive night.

MOTOMAN PROJECT: The MOTOMAN PROJECT is an interactive machine/robot performance-based experiment. A collaboration of work by machine artists, kinetic sculptors and audio-video technicians. The MOTOMAN PROJECT combines civilian technology and industrial salvage to function as elements within their excessively engineered creations accompanied with experimental audio is what the MOTOMAN PROJECT brings to the arena. The MOTOMAN PROJECT is the opus of a congregation of young mad-scientists, gathering in the basements and warehouses to create some of the most dangerous and stimulating art in Denver.

The Construct is a two man operation performing out of their mobile stage and headquarters – a transforming box truck.   Their sound pushes the boundaries of what punk and indie rock can be as it mates aggressive, fiery songs with lonely, contemplative material. Instead of opting for a traditional band they expand their creativity through the use of samplers and systematically switching between multiple instruments during its songs resulting in a surprisingly rich tapestry of sounds, built on angular guitar work and tricky tempos.

OFM: OdAm fEI mUd (Oh-dom feh mood) is a samurai/neo-kabuki, performance art group and play. The performance is choreographed fighting and sword work, ripping away at prosthetics and props, only to give way to a b-movie bloodbath! The music is the only narrative to this stage performance in tyranny and ambiguity!  The music itself is a progressive and ever changing score based in heavy drumming!

TROMAPALOOZA is a music and entertainment Event that helps raise money for the survival of the TromaDance Film Festival, an annual FREE Film Festival in Park City Utah. Tromadance Film Festival charges no entry fee for submissions in an effort to support independent art.

Lloyd Kaufman is the co-founder of Troma Entertainment, the world’s longest running independent film studio, and the director of many of their feature films, including the cult classic The Toxic Avenger and the critically acclaimed Tromeo and Juliet and his NEWEST film Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead (2006), which follows an army of undead chickens as they seek revenge on a fast food palace. Kaufman also serves as chairman of the Independent Film and Television Alliance.

When samurai-inspired performance group OdAm fEI mUd takes the stage tonight for a Blood Sucking Feast, there will be blood. Lots of it. Gallons. “We’re rigging up the warehouse venue to bleed fake blood,” explains group founder Daniel Crosier. “It’s non-toxic, so it’s not going to irritate you. It’s washable, too.” He notes that the blood will drip “from the roof, with pumps and everything, all night long.” All of this gore serves to tell a story of a cycle of tyranny that Crosier says has relevance not just to our present time, but to the universal nature of power’s corrupting influence.

Accompanying the bloodletting will be music from the Construct and Pistis Sophia, plus a fetish performance from the delightfully wicked Miss D’Vour. Doors open at 9 for the 10 p.m. show at GLOB!, 3551 Brighton Boulevard. Admission to the 21-and-up performance is $5, and attendees are encouraged to wear white for maximum blood visibility. An evening of b-movie sentiments, presented live, in the flesh and fake blood, so to speak. Fake blood will drizzles from the ceiling, onto the plastic surfaces, with pools of gorey jello. It is encouraged for all attendees to wear white – you will get soaked! Headlining the event is the avant, b-movie, samurai demons of OdAm fEI mUd, hacking away at each other with their progressive skits of tyranny, and introducing short film as part of the multimedia experience. Local super-duo band, the Construct, will be present performing out of their transport/venue and over-flowing into the mouth of GLOB. The Construct and other musicians will also be performing alive improvised session as Pistis Sophia, while Miss D’Vour & Her Ghoulies display high tolerances for pain, eroticism, and gore.
